Hey, awesome folks! Buckle up as I share my ride from corporate chaos in Mumbai to the chill vibes of Goa. It happened three years back, I was done with the fast-paced race and ready to embrace a slower, more meaningful way of living. One of the most captivating aspects of this journey was the restoration of a 100+ years old Portuguese house (Andrea’s (my wife) ancestral property).
It took us 2 years to restore this family home to its past glory, a harmonious blend of history and modernity, where every corner has a tale to tell. The culmination of this restoration, a vision was born – goCo.life– cosy homestay for slow experiences. it’s an invitation to all you chill seekers. If you’re into slow travel, good vibes, and soaking in the Goa spirit, this is your spot to immerse in the susegad way of life.
chasing the ‘slow experiences’
embracing the simple joys, the unhurried pace of goa, one bar, one taverna, one fish thali at a time, a quest for the essence of susegad that extends beyond the obvious, always in search of that hidden local bar, the tucked-away taverna, and the soul-soothing remote fishing spots or that timid warm light in the distance across the small village road.
beyond goa: exploring the european countryside
But the journey doesn’t stop at Goa’s shores. Our aspirations now extend to the heart of Europe, where we plan to take life at an even gentler pace. One country at a time, we aim to unravel the slow experiences in the European countryside. A sojourn of 3 to 4 months in each country, a deliberate embrace of the unhurried, the serene, and the soul-nurturing.
So, here’s the deal. I’m not just sharing my story; I’m inviting you to be part of it. Let’s dive into the world of slow experiences & living, where each moment counts, where simplicity is key, and where happiness is the ultimate goal. The journey is exciting, the road’s wide open, and you’re more than welcome to hop on!
With beachy vibes and a heart full of adventure,
